Kameron Explaining Her "Hyper-Feminine" Drag Aesthetic to Her Straight Challenge Partner is a Must-See Highlight

“I think that’s not going to fare well on the runway because it’s going to be very transparent that they have no chemistry together.”

Kameron Michaels isn't quite breaking out of her shell in this week's RuPaul's Drag Race challenge, yet.

For this makeover challenge, all of the queens have been paired with super popular social media influences whom they must transform into their drag sisters. Kameron has been paired with YouTube comedian Anthony Padilla and...let's just say things are off to an awkward start. Kameron explains her that drag aesthetic is hyper-feminine and Anthony, a non-watcher of Drag Race, doesn't quite get what it means. “I have watched it occasionally. My girlfriend is a huge fan, so I watch it over her shoulder.”

On top of that, Kameron has trouble bonding with Anthony, a straight man, because of experiences from her past. “I’m really apprehensive around straight men, just because when I was younger I was made fun of and bullied, and a lot of that was by straight men,” she explains. That lack of chemistry seems pretty obvious to Monét, who is quietly judging from afar. “I think that’s not going to fare well on the runway because it’s going to be very transparent that they have no chemistry together.”

Does this or does this not remind you of every dauting group project you've ever had in school? Yeah, me too.
