It’s Pretty Clear From the First 5 Minutes of the 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago ' Season Premiere That 9Mag is Crumbling to Pieces

"Whatever this family was...that's over."

Sad news: 9Mag is officially no more.

In this extended sneak peek of the Black Ink Crew: Chicago season 4 premiere, Ryan has officially been pushed to his limit. After news of his lake house hookup with Kat got back to his girlfriend Rachel, Ryan fired Kat from 9Mag in an effort to distance himself completely. Unfortunately for him, the rest of the shop is totally team Kat, and that's mainly because they feel Ryan hasn't accepted his share of the blame. That, on top of all his separate quarrels with Van and Lilly, have driven Ryan turn his back on 9Mg for good. This time, he's taking the name and leaving everything else in the dust.

Fortunately for Charmaine, she's got her own hustle going on as a big time radio host for Chicago's local hip hop station GCI. Still, it's a slap in the face to her that Ryan has been giving 9Mag the cold shoulder since its slowing down everyone's income.

Phor feels similarly about Ryan ghosting his own business, but at least things between with his lady Nikki are going smooth as can be. On top of that, Charmaine secured him a slot on Chicago's Big Jam (only the biggest hip hop show in the city, no big deal!)

Thankfully, 9Mag's inactivity hasn't slowed its employees down totally. But it still sucks that no one has seen or heard from Ryan in months. Ryan eventually has to come forward to let his employees know what's next for the shop, but will they like his answer? Don't miss Black Ink Crew Chicago's season premiere tomorrow at 8/7c only on VH1.
