Jackie Christie Opens Up About Her Traumatic Childhood In Foster Care in This 'Basketball Wives' Highlight

We’ve seen a lot of sides of Jackie Christie over the years on Basketball Wives. We’ve seen her be loving, angry, and most certainly freaky, but one thing we have never seen is Jackie being this vulnerable about her past.

Due to some choices her mom made, Jackie reveals that she was put in foster care at the age of 8 and it really shaped who she became. After hearing her foster mother make it clear that the children in her home were not welcomed, Jackie started putting people in their place. We've seen her do this with so many people and now we understand why. Her therapist also helps work through the revelation that extravagant purchases aren't going to fill the emptiness she feels inside. We're glad to see Jackie getting the help that she needs and putting in the work to be the best version of herself that she can be.
