Malaysia Prepares To Have A Difficult Conversation With Her Son About His Police Officers
Malaysia has a full house with her kids visiting LA for their spring break and her sisters stopping by with their own children. All of this family time is making Malaysia think about her late brother and making her realize that it's time to have a conversation with her oldest son about law enforcement and how to be safe in the world as a young Black man.
Jannero Jr. is about to go into middle school, which means he's too cool for his mom to take him everywhere he needs to go. Malaysia wants to give her son independence, but she's not ready for her baby to venture out on his own. Considering everything that's happening in the world and her younger brother's murder by police officers who pulled him over, Malaysia is scared for her son. To make matters worse, Jannero thinks that his mom is overreacting when all she's trying to do is keep him safe. Even if she's not ready to have this conversation with her son, Malaysia knows that she has to.
