"I Buried 22 Members Of My Family": Michael Blanco Introduces Us To His Life Of Crime in the Sneak Peek Of 'Cartel Crew'

By age 12, Michael Blanco was running his family's cocaine business. And that's just the beginning of his story.

Michael Corleone Blanco is the son of Griselda Blanco, the "Cocaine Godmother," also sometimes referred to as the female Pablo Escobar. In this extended look at tonight's series premiere of VH1's Cartel Crew, we meet Michael and his girlfriend Marie, whose connections to the drug trade have affected their lives in ways we average folks could never understand.

Michael explains that by the time he was twelve years old, his older brothers and his mother were incarcerated for their crimes, and he was left to carry on the family business. That means "I was a child doing big boy things... bribing corrections officers... telling my mom's henchmen what to do." At TWELVE YEARS OLD! He was in the business for 33 years and served time, but it was only when he lost his mother that he went straight. "When my mother was assassinated, I realized I had to change my life."

Now building a family with Marie, who has connections of her own, he's a family man with all new struggles. Watch the sneak peek now and tune in tonight at 9/8c for the series premiere.
