Rasheeda is making an effort to welcome Kirk’s baby Kannon into her family, but she “definitely sees some adjustments that need to be made” when it comes to the way Jasmine is raising him.
From the second Kannon walks through the door, Rasheeda is a little skeptical of Kirk’s parenting style and Kannon’s behavior.
It looks like Kannon also has some concerns about Rasheeda’s behavior, to be fair.
Kannon is two years old, and Rasheeda wants him to be potty trained. She questions how he is still in pull-ups instead of underwear.
After the episode aired, Jasmine was “going to hold [her] tongue, but had some thoughts.
She took to Instagram stories to say, “I’m not too fond on my mothering skills being put into question by those who aren’t even really in the picture besides when it’s time to film or when it’s convenient for you. If you’re that concerned about him being potty trained, where he’s at, etc. you’d think they would be trying to put in some time and effort to help me as a first time mom. Instead, he hasn’t been over there since before X-mas. They live right around the corner from me. Right after that scene, I was asked what time they can drop him back off.”
Well, I guess we’ll have to see if these three can figure out a way to peacefully co-parent. For now, it looks like you’ll need to tune in to Love & Hip Hop Atlanta on Mondays at 8/7c to see how that goes.
