Like most millennial basics, I stan hard for Pretty Little Liars. Even though we’re six seasons deep (and I’m not 100 percent sure what’s happening anymore) you’ll find me most Tuesday nights on my couch and getting my life every time Aria (Lucy Hale) says “bitch” or Hanna (Ashley Benson) flips her hair. Quality television, folks. Don’t knock it ’til you try it.
Speaking of Queen Hanna, Ms. Benson dropped by Late Night with Seth Meyers Thursday and revealed that one–erm–enthusiastic stan once crashed her spa visit to inquire about A. By “crashed,” we mean she literally joined Ashley in her shower stall. Yup.
“I was at a Korean spa and I was showering, and, obviously, you’re not clothed,” Ashley said. (Is your fear rising yet?) “A girl came into my shower stall and she was like, ’Can we get a picture? Can you tell me who A is? What can we talk about, can you tell me anything?’”
NO, STAN. THAT’S A HARD NOPE. Ashley was nice about the incident, but I’m screaming for her. I mean, this is a thing stans think about doing but never actually execute. Boundaries, people. Scratch that–common decency. You’ve got two options in life: join a random celebrity in the shower, or don’t join a random celebrity in the shower. Choose the latter, folks. Always.
Unfortunately, this is just one of many creepy fan-celeb interactions. Remember these A+ moments?
When this fan assaulted Peter Andre’s mug.Splash News
When this dude scared the ever-living crap out of Britney Spears.
When a reporter stan kissed Will Smith, and he wasn’t happy about it.
When this idiot made Miley Cyrus run off the damn stage.
And, always and forever, when Avril Lavigne graced stans with her presence.
STAY IN YOUR LANE, STANS. That is all.
