Ted Nugent Says The Cecil The Lion Story Is A "Joke," Thinks People Are "Stupid"

Ted Nugent has got to learn to form an opinion.

Many are still in outrage following the death of Cecil the lion, who was lured out of his sanctuary in Zimbabwe to be hunted and killed by American dentist Walter Palmer. Now, Uncle Ted is speaking out about the subject, saying we're all dumb for thinking this story is real.

A fan asked Ted on Facebook what he thought about Cecil's death, to which Ted responded with: "The whole story is a lie. It was a wild lion from a 'park' where hunting is legal & ESSENTIAL beyond the park borders. All animals reproduce every year & would run out of room/food to live w/o hunting. I will write a full piece on this joke asap. God are people stupid."

Ted Nugent, one of the few actually supporting Dr. Palmer, has spoken. But was his answer definitive enough?
