Evelyn Lozada "Wouldn't Say No" To Another Season Of Basketball Wives'

"I'm all out there, that's why I have cotton candy on my face on Basketball Wives LA."

Evelyn Lozada was the breakout star of the original Basketball Wives even catching the attention of a little lady named Oprah Winfrey. Now Ev and her daughter Shaniece Hairston headline their own reality series Livin' Lozada on the OWN network.

VH1 caught up with the former Basketball Wives star about how she found time in her busy schedule to film a scene for Basketball Wives LA, what made her put that cotton candy on her head, and if she'd ever return to VH1 for another series with her Miami cohorts.

How were you convinced to make an appearance on this season of Basketball Wives LA?

Evelyn Lozada: Well Shaunie, she didn't convince me she was just like, "Hey would you be open to filming like a dinner with me," and I was like, "sure." Look, I love, I will forever ever ever feel just so, I will always show, not only the network but Shaunie, whatever she does I'm always gonna like support it. I feel like I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for VH1 and Basketball Wives so that was like a no-brainer for me. I just needed to make sure it was just gonna be with Shaunie.

Do you know any of the girls from the LA cast? Jackie Christie or Draya Michele?

No, I don't. I've met all of the girls at one point in time but I don't know them personally at all.

Would you ever consider doing another season of Basketball Wives?

I wouldn't say no. [Laughs] I'd say, I wouldn't say no. You just never know. I truly love the fans and they've been so supportive and they've been good to me so I wouldn't say no.

Aside from Shaunie, do you keep in touch with any of the other ladies from the show?

No, I don't talk to anyone else but Shaunie.

After you and Jennifer Williams mended ways at the last reunion, have you maintained a relationship or kept in touch?

Like eight months ago or so I reached out to [Jennifer], kind of just a text, I just was having a moment and I apologized for any hurt that I caused or you know it was a lot going on at the time and she responded and we made peace with it and that was it. I think that we're in two totally different places in life but we definitely squashed the beef and have moved on.

And your old personal assistant/best friend Nia? Are you guys still close? Will she be on your new show?

No, I haven't talked to Nia in a couple of years.

Thanks for taking the time to chat, your brand of humor is sorely missed on Basketball Wives.

I'm all out there, that's why I have cotton candy on my face on Basketball Wives. I don't even know why I did that. I think I was talking about Jackie, I don't even know what I was talking about.

You were talking about Jackie's weaves. I think it was subtle shade.

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean her weaves never look good. I'm like "Jackie, let's really do something with this hair."

Keep up with Evelyn on her new series Livin' Lozada, Saturday at 9/8c on OWN!
