Ed Sheeran Lends A Hand On Macklemore's Emotional Tribute Song For His Baby Daughter—Have Tissues Ready

Macklemore has largely been absent from the music seen following their Grammy win for 2013's The Heist. In their Complex cover story, Macklemore explained that he wound up in the grips of addiction once more due to the pressures of touring, which slowed their process for a follow up.
But today, Macklemore surprised fans by tweeting a link to "Growing Up (Sloane's Song)" which features Ed Sheeran. The new track, which is available for free download, features the Seattle artist opening up about the recent birth of his daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty.
The slow verses are filled with promises for a good life for his daughter, while Ed Sheeran adds an edge to the chorus. Listen, and make sure to have tissues handy.
