Michelle Williams Has A Response For The Haters

Don't mess with Michelle.

Michelle Williams heard the loud criticism about her Super Bowl performance Sunday. And she's probably seen the gif of the photoshopped walker in front of her while executing (slowly) the "Single Ladies" choreography. But you know what? Slamming her performance can't keep a good woman down.

As a Christian woman the FELA singer and actress chooses to focus on the positive--she got to perform at the Super Bowl with her "sisters" while we were all watching her on TV. "People at home watching… they don’t catch the moments where, like in the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ pose, I was smiling," she told Billboard. "We were all smiling. I was laughing with my girls. I don’t care what anybody else says. I don’t let it get me down. It was a beautiful thing." You hear that, Keyshia Cole?

Buzzfeed has made a joking sport of teasing her with posts of "Why The World Needs Michelle" and a reporter dissing her and all the people who shaded her during Sunday's halftime show. Someone hand her that sweatshirt Bey wore donning the question, "Can I Live?" Meanwhile Shelly (we have no idea if people really call her that) is still starring in FELA and working on her gospel album. Twelve years later, albeit it Kelly's verse on "Survivor" is oh so relevant.

"I'm not gon blast you on the radio

(I'm better than that)

I'm not gon lie on you and your family

(I'm better than that)

I'm not gon hate on you in the magazines

('m better than that)

I'm not gon compromise my Christianity

(I'm better than that)

You know I'm not gon diss you on the internet

Cause my mama taught me better than that"
