Ciara Debuts "Body Party" With Help From Her Boo, Future
Our first thought: When is Ciara dropping One Woman Army since she keeps releasing singles? Our second: What the heck is a "Body Party" and does it have anything to do with a body roll?
Its been a merry go round for Ciara's forthcoming fifth album with the great single--"Sorry" to lukewarm tracks "Sweat" and "Got Me Good." Although no one had a clue what an actual "Body Party" was (we now know it's "your body is my party") she may have hit gold with the slowed down Mike Will Made It production. She's certainly channeling her Kelly Rowland in going for the freaky bedroom anthem. Her new beau, Future, penned the song and makes a howling appearance in the beginning. The beat knocks and is quite the redemption from "Wake Up, Turn Up" released in January, which was also produced by Mike Will and mostly forgotten shortly after it dropped.
Maybe Ciara's love life with Future was just the 'umph' she needed. The Ghost Town DJ’s "My Boo" sample doesn't hurt either. Now that we've established that this is a step in the right direction all we need is a release date for the delayed, delayed again, and delayed some more album.
