EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PREMIERE: Joe King, "Need A Woman By Friday"

Joe King, guitarist and co-founder of The Fray, is embarking on a new side project, one in which he is experimenting with life as a solo artist. He's introducing the sound of his new LP, Breaking, with the release of his single "Need A Woman By Friday," and VH1 has got the World Exclusive Premiere of the song's music video for you guys to enjoy.

"Friday" sees King traveling outside of his normal Coloradan environs and making a stop in New Orleans, where he wanders through the Tremé section of town, picking up renowned brass man Trombone Shorty (and a heck of a second line!) along the way. The video is shot primarily selfie-style (a la Justin Bieber's "Beauty And A Beat"), and reflects the song's unique instrumental style. After all, it's not every day that you hear a trombone anchor a pop song, but bold and unique production ideas like these have us excited to hear the rest of Breaking when it is released next month.
