Dawes has been a favorite around the VH1 offices since they were our You Oughta Know band back in September of 2011. Their album at that time, Nothing Is Wrong, racked up a string of critical accolades thanks to its narrative-driven lyrics and laid back, Laurel Canyon vibe. The group just released their third studio album, Stories Don't End, and VH1 is excited to share the video for that album's lead single, "From A Window Seat," with you tonight.

As you might expect with a title like "From A Window Seat," the song (and its video above) was clearly inspired by air travel. Dawes racked up a ton of air miles supporting Nothing Is Wrong, and has already been hitting the road in support of this new LP. The band played a number of events at SXSW last month, and they'll also be supporting the legendary Bob Dylan on a club tour this spring. The band has one of those sounds that just has a timeless feel, and this song is no exception. With such a strong lead single, we have a sneaking suspicion that Stories Don't End is going to be one of those albums that won't be leaving our rotation for months and months to come.
