Hunter Hayes Performs With Stevie Wonder on 'Dancing With the Stars'
On last night's Dancing With the Stars, country music newcomer Hunter Hayes tore up the stage with R&B legend Stevie Wonder. The performance was one of the tribute episode's many highlights, which featured hits from Wonder’s extensive career.
As Wonder transitioned from a soulful rendition of his classic, "All I Do," he enthusiastically introduced Hayes to viewers. "Ladies and gentlemen, my friend, Hunter Hayes, is going to sing with me, 'I Ain't Gonna Stand For It'!" With Wonder on keyboards and Hayes on guitar, the studio audience was kept on their feet as the singers harmonized the lyrics. Watch the video below.
Monday's performance was Hayes' second appearance with Wonder over the past few weeks. They also teamed up at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas earlier this month. CMT spoke with both musicians following the ACM set. Wonder praised the young artist and Hayes hinted that future collaborations could be in the works.
Tomorrow afternoon at 2PM/1C, Hunter Hayes will host a live Q&A on Twitter: @hunterhayes. Submit questions using the hashtag #AskHH.
