First Dibs: Ray J ‘s New “I Hit It First” Video Stars Kim K Look-alike

Also in today’s First Dibs: The Beastie Boys are publishing a memoir and the Rolling Stones rock an intimate venue in Los Angeles.

  • Hell hath no fury like a Ray J scorned. At least, that’s what one can judge from the video for his single, “I Hit It First.” For weeks, there’s been speculation that the track fired shots at sex tape co-star Kim Kardashian and her current boyfriend, Kanye West. Ray J’s tried to convince us that isn’t the case, but after casting a Kimmy K look-alike to star in the video, we just ain’t buying it. [Complex]
  • When’s the last time the Rolling Stones played a venue that holds less than 750 people? Surprisingly, just this past weekend as the legendary band took over L.A.’s Echoplex. Don’t be (too) jealous — the Stones are beginning their official tour May 3. [Los Angeles Times]
  • The Beastie Boys’ surviving members have signed a deal to release the band’s memoir in 2015. The book aims to be an avant-garde take on the traditional memoir format, proving that these guys will never stop switching up styles. [MTV]
