The hip-hop world continues to mourn the untimely passing of Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly, one half of the 90s era rap sensation Kris Kross. Kelly was found dead at his Atlanta home on Wednesday, and TMZ is reporting that Kelly's mother told police that he had been doing both cocaine and heroin the night before he died.

VH1 last sat down with Kelly in March of 2011 during the taping of our special, The 100 Greatest One Hit Wonders of the 90s. We spoke to him about a wide range of subjects, covering everything from the meteoric rise of "Jump Jump" (and how he dealt with the group's waning popularity) to the advice he would give young performers entering the music business. We've released the entire, uncut, 16 minute interview for you to watch -- it's a moving portrait of a young man who achieved incredible success at a very early age, and how that set the tone for the rest of his too short lifetime.

Our sincere condolences to Kelly's family and friends during this very difficult time.
