The 2013 O Music Awards Are Coming To A Computer Screen Near You On June 19

The O Music Awards are back! Last year, The Flaming Lips set a Guinness World Record for the Most Concerts Played in 24 Hours (Multiple Cities), and this year's outing looks to be equally exciting. The O Music Awards return on June 19th at 7PM ET for a 24-hour live stream party to celebrate and honor the artists, innovators and fans that are impacting music, technology and counter culture.

This year's OMA nominees are a diverse bunch that includes Frank Ocean (Must Follow Artist on Twitter and Too Much Ass for TV), Beck (Best Interactive Music Video and Analog Genius), Macklemore (Best Web-Born Artist), You Oughta Know artist Ed Sheeran (Fan Army FTW) and more. You can vote for your favorites across all of the categories beginning ... NOW!

This year, for the first time in O Music Awards history, the program will feature a “Make a Band Famous” award and opportunity, nominees for which are chosen via the Artist Platform and committee. 10 bands have been selected for the semi-final round— The So So Glos, Chill Moody, Syd Arthur, Striking Matches, Tatiana Owens, John & Jacob, Shy Glizzy, Fallulah, The Future, and Darling Paradeto— and one of these acts will earn a once-in-a-lifetime shot to play VMA weekend in August!

The O Music Awards will also feature The Roots band leader and drummer ?uestlove kicking off a 24-hour-drum-a-thon that will serve as the heartbeat for “Live Music Day.”
