VH1 Rock Doc 'Downloaded' Is Coming To a Screen Near You

Downloaded, Alex Winter's documentary highlighting Napster and the digital music revolution, is heading to theaters and Video On Demand. The VH1 Rock Doc will be hitting viewers this summer.

The film was presented at SXSW earlier this year, and has received acclaim ever since. The documentary's theatrical release will hit New York on June 21 and Los Angeles on June 28, with screenings scheduled in Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, and other major cities.

And in a groundbreaking distribution move, Downloaded also will be available through Video On Demand beginning July 1, allowing audiences to view the film through iTunes, Amazon Instant Play, Comcast, and other services.
