Richie Sambora Wants Jon Bon Jovi To Stop "Trash-Talking," Hints At Possible Return

When Richie Sambora was asked to pack his bags and take a leave of absence from the current leg of the Bon Jovi world tour back in early April, Jon Bon Jovi cited "personal reasons" as the cause of Sambora's departure. Of course, "personal reasons" is generally PR speak for "drug/alcohol abuse," and knowing Sambora's well-documented history in that arena, many assumed that he had fallen off the wagon again. Well, as it turns out, Richie has been paying close attention to the rumor and innuendo, and he's not the least bit happy about it. "Enough with the trash-talking — Jon needs to stop talking about me publicly,” Sambora told the Daily Mail late last week.

“I am fine, working very hard on my fashion company, Nikki Rich, and this is a private matter," Sambora continued. He was apparently irked by an interview that JBJ gave to London's Evening Standard, one in which JBJ said "It's getting more and more difficult every day to not just sit here and say something...Because all I can say is this - it’s for personal reasons."

Well, shortly after giving this interview to the Daily Mail, Sambora apparently realized that going toe-to-toe with Jon Bon Jovi in the press was not exactly the best way to get himself out of persona non grata status with the band and back on tour. So, he gave them ANOTHER interview, one in which he played much nicer in the proverbial sandbox. "I would love to be in London for the Hyde Park Bon Jovi show on the July 5th… Let's see what happens," he told them. "I love my fans, I have no personal problems. I am a happy man!"

Well then...
