Soul singer Sharon Jones has a health scare, U2 fans could get a new album by year's end, and Wale drops his "Bad" remix, featuring Rihanna.

An attorney for the woman who bore the brunt of Miguel's accidental crash landing at the Billboard Awards says she may have suffered brain damage. The lawyer claims his client is already showing signs of cognitive deficiency, but is waiting to hear from doctors and then will decide whether to sue the R&B singer. [TMZ]

Soul singer Sharon Jones is having surgery to remove a tumor after being diagnosed with stage one cancer. Since doctors discovered the problem early, Jones is expected to recover. However, she and her band, the Dap-Kings, are pushing back the release of their next album. [The Guardian]

U2 are finishing up their next album, having been spotted at New York City's Electric Lady Studios. The band appears to be working with various collaborators, including Danger Mouse and Coldplay's Chris Martin. [Rolling Stone]
