Lenny Kravitz Rocks The 2013 CMT Music Awards With 'American Woman' + Jason Aldean
Hold up, Girl On Fire! It was Lenny Kravitz getting a crowd hungry for a full evening of country celebration at last night's CMT Music Awards. The sometimes-actor-always-rockstud lit up the stage with "American Woman" alongside country star Jason Aldean, who immediately transitioned into his co-host duties with CMT favorite Kristen Bell. Rocking skin tight metallic denim pants with his signature nose ring, the artist currently known as Cinna set the tone of the performance and overall evening when he emerged from the stage floor with a devil horn raising Aldean and shredded that famous intro guitar riff. Even Taylor Swift couldn't resist Bankhead bouncing along to Kravitz's version (whose video made Heather Graham's rack a national treasure in 1999 when Tay Tay was 10).
The tag team swapped verses throughout the performance, capping the hot performance with pyrotechnics blazing in the background. Watch it above and don't forget to check out our buddies at CMT.com to relive the best moments from the entire show.
