Paul McCartney is the king of Bonnaroo. About 80,000 people congregated Friday night to listen to the 70-year-old rock god play 24 Beatles songs (including "Let It Be" and "Yesterday") and 7 Wings james. [Rolling Stone]

Elton John and Billy Joel have buried the proverbial hatchet. The two piano men had been feuding for about two years over public discussion of Joel's alcoholism, but they appeared to be friends again at a Songwriters Hall of Fame event this week. [US Weekly]
