The Mowgli’s To Preview New Album At Lollapalooza

Fresh off their performance at the 2013 Hangout Festival, The Mowgli’s (pronounced: “Moe-Glees”) chat with VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown host Jake Shearer about their upcoming performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL.

The group tells Shearer that fans should expect to hear new music from their upcoming major label debut, Waiting for the Dawn.

“We have a lot of jams we never played before,” says Katie Jayne Earl. “And we are really excited to share them with some of our favorite fans in Chicago.”

The Mowgli’s show is also expected to be full of tons of energy and fun, something they demonstrated at Hangout Fest in May. In case you missed it, check out their performance of “San Francisco” from the 2012 self-released album, Sound the Drum:
The Mowgli’s perform on Sunday, August 4th at 3:20 p.m. Be sure to check them out and tweet @VH1 with the hashtag, #BestLollaEver, if you spot any red wine-colored fannypacks on stage.
