Following last week's Supreme Court rulings on same-sex marriage, Lady Gaga appeared at a pride event in New York City. The pop star, a gay rights advocate, sang the national anthem to mark the historic occasion. [The Guardian]

Jennifer Lopez caught some flack over the weekend for singing "Happy Birthday" to Turkmenistan's head of state. The country is known for having an unfavorable human rights record, and Lopez claims the song was a spur-of-the-moment request as she headed out to perform. [USA Today]

Since his publicized breakup with Rihanna, Chris Brown has been hanging with another ex. Karrueche Tran sent well wishes to her "baby" ahead of his set at the BET Awards, and posted a cozy pic of the two on Instagram. [Vibe]
