Battle Of The Summer Jams: The Relationship Ballads

Welcome back to the Battle Of The Summer Jams. Oh how the mighty have fallen in the past few weeks. Everyone from Miley Cyrus to Will.i.am has made a run for the top of the charts but you, the voters, have shunned them to obscurity. Last week Ciara and Kendrick Lamar faced off in the R&B showdown. Fans must be excited Ciara is back because she took 58 percent of the vote for "Body Party." This week we are slowing things down even more with a focus on two relationship ballads: Pink's "Just Give Me One Reason" and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Same Love." Time to listen and vote!

Pink, "Just Give Me One Reason"

Pink recruits .fun's leader singer, Nate Ruess, for duet about a broken relationship. The singer said the song channels her experiences with her husband, Corey Hart, who she split with for a year but reconciled the relationship.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, "Same Love"

The rapping duo sings what is rap's first gay marriage anthem on this track, which came out over a year ago. Due to the recent Supreme Court Rulings on LGBT rights, the song has surged over the past month.
