Hey, Hey, Hey: Robin Thicke Teaches Jimmy Fallon How To Rhyme
Just when you thought #THICKE couldn't get any more adorable than his childhood tennis whites...
Robin Thicke brought "Blurred Lines" to the set of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Thursday, giving the hit song the late-night show's special treatment: performance via a collection of children's instruments (maracas, xylophone, you name it). This means Robin gets to play the spoons and Jimmy and the Roots get to take great pleasure in repeatedly shouting "hey, hey, hey."
This version is a good compromise for those who are displeased by the music video's racy content, and Robin's teaching moment ("What rhymes with 'hug me'?") fits the romper room vibe. Plus, anytime you get to see Questlove shake a teeny tiny maraca, your day is automatically made. We only wish little Julian Thicke (or Alan) could have joined in on the fun.
