Miley Cyrus confirms the release of her next album, Beyonce ditches the short hairdo, and two new acts are slated to perform at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

Robin Thicke has brought a suit against Marvin Gaye's family and Funkadelic, apparently to preempt any claims of royalties from the parties. Fans have noted similarities between this summer's hit "Blurred Lines" and Gaye's "Got To Give It Up," but Funkadelic also believe parts of their song "Sexy Ways" can be found in Thicke's track.
