2013 VMAs: Danity Kane Reunites and It Feels So Good!

After countless rumors, Danity Kane officially reunited at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show. That's right, Aubrey O'Day, Dawn Richard, Shannon Bex and Aundrea Fimbres got back together (sans D. Woods) to kick start Danity Kane 2.0. The group, which was made famous on MTV's mid-Aughts reality show Making The Band, went through a number of ups and downs before Diddy kicked D. Woods and Aubrey out of the group before splitting up in 2009. But tonight, the girls looked ready and excited to be back together as they talked to Christina Garibaldi ahead of the main show, and even mentioned that they're working on a new track with the production team The Stereotypes.

Ahead of the show, O'Day confirmed rumors of the reunion with a Instagram photo that read, "DANITY KANE is officially BACK! @danitykane #vmas2013 #Rage." Now it's just a matter of time until the album comes out. It should be noted that this reunion doesn't involve Diddy. The girls are hitting the studio without their former mentor.

As for D. Woods, she told Vibe, "It has been brought to my attention that my former group members of Danity Kane will be reuniting and while I will not be a part of the reunion, I wish the ladies blessings and much success on their endeavors." So there you have it. Diddy and D. out, the new and improved Danity Kane in.
