Miley Cyrus Raps About MC Hammer And “Purp” On Mike WiLL Made It’s “23”

First Miley Cyrus is naked, licking a sledgehammer, next she’s rapping alongside Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J. But it’s only Tuesday!

Miley continues to shatter any expectations you might have of a former Disney star with her featured performance on “23,” a new track off producer Mike WiLL Made It’s upcoming album, Est. in 1989 Pt. 3. Recall that WiLL is the man responsible for “We Can’t Stop” (along with G.O.O.D. Music’s “Mercy” and Ciara’s “Body Party,” your official Summer Jam) and posed oh-so-cozily with Miley on the MTV VMA red carpet last month. After teasing their latest collaboration on Twitter, the song premiered on Atlanta radio Monday night. Along with Miley dropping references to rap groups (Naughty By Nature) who were in their prime when she was only an infant, there’s mentions of “da club” and “purp” that should have those who believed it was “dancing with Miley Molly” all along feeling validated. And if you’ve been trying to explain her recent behavior over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, maybe this will help: “I back it up, cause I don’t give a f–k / If you a lame, that’s a shame, you can’t hang with us.”

What’s it all about, Miley? For now we can hope to learn a little more about the singer’s thought process, as well as how she became besties with nearly all of hip-hop’s elite, in her upcoming MTV documentary, or count the days until another buzzworthy live television performance.
