It's almost here! Only five more days until the inaugural You Oughta Know In Concert special airs this Thursday, November 21 at 9/8C. It features performances from You Oughta Know alumni both new (Lorde, HAIM, JOHNNYSWIM) and, well, not so new. Take, for instance, the talented Matt Nathanson, who has been part of the YOK family since 2008.

As evidenced on his new LP Last Of The Great Pretenders, Nathanson is still putting out material that's resonating strongly with his fanbase. However, we think even Matt himself would agree that his single biggest song to date has been "Come On Get Higher," which first caught our ear back in 2008 when Some Mad Hope dropped. The song reached a peak of #59 on the Billboard Hot 100, but it absolutely DOMINATED the U.S. Adult Contemporary charts for nearly a year. As a single, it went platinum, which is especially impressive considering there wasn't as much of a market for digital singles as there is today.

We've got a sneak preview of this performance for you above, but to watch the full thing, be sure and tune-in to VH1 this Thursday, November 21, at 9/8C to watch the You Oughta Know In Concert two-hour special.
