Delta Rae is one of our favorite You Oughta Know artists to emerge over the last couple of years, which is why it was so thrilling to see them appear on-stage at the You Oughta Know In Concert special that airs tonight at 9/8C on VH1. The band's Brittany Holljes (aka @brittanyhellyes) and Liz Hopkins (aka @batsparkles) join an all-star cast of performers during the evening's closing number, "Ho Hey" by The Lumineers, but that's not all that's new with this North Carolina six-piece.

Hot off the heels of their straight up AWESOME debut LP, Carry The Fire, the band just dropped a brand new EP this week called Chasing Twisters. There are five songs on the record, two of which ("If I Loved You" and "Dance In The Graveyards") are new interpretations of the songs that appeared on C.T.F., while the other three are brand new original material. It's a nice stopgap between albums for fans that are thirsting for more from this promising new act, who will be going back on the road in February of 2014 and hopefully releasing an album sometime next year.

Until then, you can delight in their new video for "If I Loved You," one of the most memorable "It's not me, it's you" songs all-time.
