Flavor Flav Arrested While Driving To His Mother's Funeral

It's safe to say that Flavor Flav isn't having the best week ever. The 54-year-old rapper became a public enemy yesterday when he was pulled over in Hempstead, NY for allegedly driving 79 in a 55 MPH zone. Cops soon discovered that he had a whopping 16 suspensions on his license, but that's just the beginning of Flav's long day. The story only gets worse...Much worse.

Authorities also found a small quantity of marijuana in the front of the black Hyundai. It probably seemed like some jail time was in order, but that's when Flav shared his destination: his mother's funeral. Ooof. He was indeed arrested for felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, but he was released after being booked so that he could continue on to the service (presumably driven by someone else). The real question is, why was he rushing? It's hard to believe that a man with a wall clock dangling from his neck could ever be late!

This is definitely not Flavor Flav's only run-in with the long arm of the law. In October 2012 he was busted in Las Vegas for assault with a deadly weapon and did some time behind bars. He was arrested the year before for a variety of driving offense, and in 1992 he was jailed for 90-days after being accused of attempted murder when he apparently shot at his neighbor.
