VH1's Super Bowl Blitz has been going strong all week long as musicians, J. Cole, Janelle Monáe, Fall Out Boy and TLC have brought their talents and high spirits to boroughs all over New York. The energy has been palpable and day five of our epic concert series was no different. Buffalo natives, the Goo Goo Dolls stormed Staten Island and brought the crowd to their feet for the entire 12-song jam session.
We all remember the good ol' days of 90s alt rock and last night we were magically transported to that amazing decade of music as the Goo Goo Dolls played their classics, "Iris," "Slide," "Black Balloon," and "Name." We sang along with John Rzeznik and for an hour, everything was okay in the world. Last night's party was documented in full and now you can get pumped for the Big Game tomorrow by blasting songs from last night's show.
SET LIST: "Slide" / "Rebel Beat" / "Come To Me" / "Black Balloon" / "January Friend" / "Here Is Gone" / "Bringing On The Lights" / "Name" / "Better Days" / "Let Love In" / "Iris" / "Broadway"
VH1's Super Bowl Blitz wraps up tonight with Gavin DeGraw in New Jersey. Catch the entire concert on VH1, VH1.com or the VH1 App. Tune in to our pre-show starting at 10:50/9:50C and stayed tuned for the live performance at 11/10C.
