You'll Have The 'Best Day' After Watching This 60-Second American Authors Performance

[mtvn_player vid="999910" autoplay="true"]

First they did it with a dog, then with a near R-rated Where The Wild Things Are themed video around New York City, and now American Authors are performing a compact version of their Billboard Hot 100 hit "Best Day Of My Life" for VH1's Stop/Watch. Is watching the boys shrink down the catchy tune to under a minute as adorable as watching a bulldog rock sunglasses and eat a cupcake? It's damn near close!

And the newly minted You Oughta Know stars aren't the only YOK act getting in on the speed performance fun. Recent YOK alumnae A Great Big World hold it down with "This Is The New Year" while last year's duo JOHNNYSWIM take us "Home" in 60 seconds. Plus, Valerie June and Algebra Blessett reworked "You Can't Be Told" and  "Nobody But You," respectively. Check out our video gallery to see if they all beat the clock, plus listen to exclusive interviews from American Authors and Algebra who explain just how they chopped these tunes into fun-size snippets of bliss.
