Miley Cyrus kicked off her Bangerz tour in Vancouver over the weekend, and she brought some familiar friends--and schtick--along for the ride.

Shocking an audience is nothing new for Miley; it's her raison d'être, and the various conversations that followed her 2013 MTV VMA performance--dealing with cultural appropriation, feminism and, yes, twerking--have only fueled her creative output. The foam finger, dancing dwarves and tiny bodysuits are all there in her current live show, but she sees your Robin Thicke and raises you a Bill Clinton (impersonator). One of the most buzzed about moments from her opening night was when Miley simulated fellatio on a man wearing a Clinton mask, calling to mind the 1998 Monica Lewinsky scandal that occurred when she was all of six years old. And just like Lewinsky has become firmly entrenched in the cultural zeitgeist (see: Beyoncé using it as a verb in "Partition") our children's kids will one day be referencing Miley's tongue. Not for the modest concertgoer, there's also a lot of suggestive poses and hands, most of which are Miley's own, exploring different parts of her body as well as those of her dancers.

From the early reviews, Bangerz is filled with everything that kept her in the conversation for the majority of 2013. It's been well-received by critics, and is already being criticized by many from afar. Yet with high fashion looks from Marc Jacobs and Jeremy Scott, and a "Hey Ya!" cover that validates OutKast's sudden booking at every festival imaginable, there's a lot more to this live show than just butts. We predict she'll continue to keep us guessing, either by topping her Unplugged guest or making a quiche on top of a dancer's tummy while also juggling knives. It could happen! We don't want to make the mistake of doubting Miley ever again.

The Bangerz tour runs through April 25 here in the States, before heading to Europe through June 13. To gauge whether or not her tour is too much for you to handle, check out some of her more suggestive staging in the gallery above.
