Demi Lovato shared something personal with her Twitter followers yesterday: her hair. As in, an actual pink strand that used to be attached to her head. What? Any Lovatic knows Demi likes to keep her fans in the loop!

The intriguing photo was part of a major style change the singer revealed in piecemeal on social media, just in time for her Neon Lights tour. Like Cassie, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus before her, Demi's gone for the side shave, loved by celebrities from Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer to Oscar nominee Michelle Williams. With her frequent color changes (including brown, blonde, blue and red) and penchant for tattoos, diehard Lovatics shouldn't be surprised by the move; Demi is fearless. And sharing all elements of her life--including the strands of hair that will soon be laid to rest in the trash--is total Demetria: true to her fans every step of the way.
