The cat’s out of the f***ing bag! The 2014 Golden Gods Awards is going down next week in Los Angeles and it will be hosted this year by none other than That Metal Show's Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson! It only makes sense that the sole television show about all things heavy metal and hard rock teams up with the only awards show that celebrates head-banging, fist in the air metal music. Fans can livestream the entire 4-hour event on VH1.com and the VH1 App next Wednesday April 23 at 10 pm ET / 7pm PT and see live performances from Guns N’ Roses, Joan Jett and Zakk Wylde plus an exclusive Black Carpet pre-show hosted by Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider. VH1 Classic will air highlights from the awards ceremony Saturday, May 24th.

Founded by Revolver Magazine, the world’s premiere hard rock and heavy metal periodical, this year’s Golden Gods Awards will honor legendary Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose with the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award and Joan Jett will take her place as the first female recipient of the Golden God Award. Also appearing at this year’s show will be Jane’s Addiction guitar hero Dave Navarro, shock rockers Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie and celebrity metalheads Joe Manganiello, Tony Hawk, Pauley Perrette and Carmen Electra among others.

BUY TICKETS HERE to attend the show in person at Club Nokia in L.A. and if you’re one of the millions of metal militia members worldwide be sure to log on to VH1.com or the VH1 App next Wednesday night to live-stream the full show or watch it next month on VH1 Classic!
