The Northside Festival kicked off in Brooklyn earlier this week covering the best in new Film, Innovation and Music. VH1 and Palladia are teaming up to host four nights of live music for the festival. The first two nights were Thursday and Friday, hosted at Williamsburg's famous venue The Knitting Factory. On Thursday there were live performances by rising rock band out of the UK Syd Arthur, plus winning Make A Band Famous act Fancy Reagan and many others. Then on Friday, legendary music producer and new member of the VH1 family Linda Perry curated a special showcase featuring her own favorite emerging artists like Perfect Pussy, Shilpa Ray and more.
