A biographical film about prolific hip-hop group N.W.A. is set to hit theaters next year! Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and director F. Gary Gray are teaming up to bring the film, aptly titled Straight Outta Compton, to audiences and introduce a new generation to the group's mind-blowing music.

Though the guys from N.W.A. officially got their start in the late 1980s, their influence paved the way for the West Coast's formidable rap reign in the `90s. And since we're in the era of `90s nostalgia, we'd definitely welcome a bunch of biopics about artists from the decade. In 2009, we had Notorious, which told the story of the Notorious B.I.G. Could we possibly see more hip-hop biopics?

In case any movie studios out there need any ideas, we've got a whole list of artists whose stories we'd love to see unfold onscreen. Take a look through our gallery to find out who we think deserves a biopic!
