- Last night, Nicki Minaj won Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards. She announced in her acceptance speech that she has won the award an impressive five years in a row but is still humbled by the honor each time. She also added, “When you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it.” The crowd went nuts as she expressed “no shade” directed towards anyone but we can’t help but think she may be alluding to Iggy Azalea, who has been recently accused of having a ghost writer.
