Adam Levine's hot looks may have kept our attention, but it's been two years since a new Maroon 5 song has blasted out of our radios. After releasing their hit album Overexposed in 2012, the band took a hiatus, leaving us all heartbroken. Although the teary video may break our hearts a little more, their brand new song, "Maps" will have you falling back in love with the group in no time!

"Maps" was released earlier this month as the lead single from the group's fifth studio album, V, which is scheduled to be released on September 2nd.The disc marks a welcome return to keyboard player Jesse Carmichael, who has been on leave for the last two years, and features production work from music titans like Ryan Tedder, Shellback, Sam Martin, Max Martin, and Benny Blanco.

The song's music video got a helping hand from none other than Peter Berg, director of Friday Night Lights! The auteur even has a cameo in the clip, wearing (what else) an FNL t-shirt. Clear eyes, Maroon 5, can't lose! Although the video tugs at the heart strings and may cause you to shed a tear, "Maps" still has that upbeat, Maroon 5 style that we all love. Now go check out the video above! Just be sure to a grab a tissue or two...
