Country Duo Maddie & Tae Are This Week's Yas Girls

By now, most country music fans have heard the infectious track, "Girl In A Country Song." The duo behind the feminist anthem, Maddie & Tae, have become this week's Yas Girls.

The young singers in their late teens recently made a splash as they popped onto the scene. The video for their hit track takes a hard stand against country’s bro culture.

Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye use the song to criticize sex kitten stereotypes that are still found in today’s country hits. In their clip, they don’t only call out the bros who are prone to objectifying women. The duo also makes the guys don the same skimpy clothing usually reserved for video vixens!
