As part of I <3 Video Vixens Month here at VH1, we're celebrating the fabulous women who made music videos so much hotter over the years, and changed our lives for the better.
We've seen the outfits and the dance moves, but let's take it back to the start: How does one actually get a gig in a major music video? The 2005 documentary VH1 News Presents: Hip Hop Video Vixens: Sexploitation on the Set explores the process of hip hop video vixen casting. So if you want to learn a thing or two from some veterans, take a trip back to a time when beautiful women lined up to earn a spot in a video from 50 Cent, Mobb Deep, and M.O.P. It's all fun and games until the casting director yells "Hit it!" right?
