Did you miss Taylor Swift's media takeover this week? The 24-year-old hosted her own livestream special on Yahoo and made some major announcements. Sorry, haters! Taylor Swift Season is coming.

With an infectious new song ("Shake It Off"), a new album on the way (1989, out October 27), and a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Taylor is totally owning the week with her flawless pop. And in between making us get up and dance, she's also reminding us of the brilliance of Toni Basil. Yas, girl!
