On a recent trip to Los Angeles, Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino of the band A Great Big World took a spin downtown to visit the most inspiring places L.A. has to offer. With the help of Toyota, the group made stops at L.A.'s Chinatown to grab some food, walked the L.A. River (made famous by the movie Grease), and ended at the Orpheum Theater, the gorgeous restored movie palace.
Surrounded by inspiring places, the band started to talk about what inspires them and their music. Since their days at NYU, they have wanted to bring their music to all parts of the globe and make people smile. L.A. is a great place to go when you want to experience the best parts of different cultures. The entire city really feels like one great, big world.
A Great Big World is best known for their songs "This Is The New Year" and "Say Something", the global smash hit with Christina Aguilera. Their album Is there Anybody Out There? was released earlier this year to rave reviews. Head to the gallery below to take (a virtual) roadtrip through historic Los Angeles with the guys in the band!
