Metallica Bids 'The Late Late Show' Goodbye With Week-Long Residency

Long-time host of The Late Late Show Craig Ferguson will say farewell to his loyal fans with a special treat. Rolling Stone reports that Metallica will celebrate Ferguson's tenure at CBS with a week-long residency during the week of November 17th. The band will sit for an interview and play a song on the show for every night of that week.

The end of Late Late also corresponds with the 10th anniversary reissue of Metallica's documentary Some Kind of Monster. This late night rock mashup looks to work for both parties. Tune in next month to watch the last few shows of Late Late with Ferguson as host before British actor and comedian James Corden takes over.

Speaking of rock, check out the trailer for our Rock Doc, Downloaded and learn about the rise and fall of Napster. The doc airs Sunday, November 2nd at 10/9C.
