Lorde or Selena Gomez: Whose 2014 AMAs Performance Gave You More Feels?

It was certainly an evening of girl power at the 2014 American Music Awards on Sunday. From Taylor Swift's glitzy opener to Charli XCX's sassy set, it was a female-centric affair. And we loved it. However, we weren't prepared for all the feels some of the ladies gave us. Two in particular, Lorde and Selena Gomez, delivered powerhouse performances that were possibly career game-changers.

First, Lorde turned it out on her Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 song "Yellow Flicker Beat." The multicolored performance was complete with aggressive head banging and Lorde's signature dead stare.

Then, Gomez, dressed in a beautiful light dress and minimal set, gave a heart-wrenching performance of her latest song "The Heart Wants What It Wants." These are arguably Gomez's best vocals to date.

So, you tell us. Which performance made you reach for the tissues the most? Let us know in the comments below.
