Eric Clapton Serves Up An Acoustic Version Of “Layla” In ‘Planes, Trains and Eric’ Tonight On Palladia + VH1 Classic

Make sure you save room after your Thanksgiving dinner for a heaping helping of rock, because Eric Clapton’s Planes, Trains and Eric gets it’s television premiere tonight at 8 PM on Palladia and VH1 Classic. Recently released on DVD, the David Maxwell concert film follows Slowhand and his band on a recent tour of Asia.

In addition to performances of classic songs like “I Shot The Sheriff”,”Before You Accuse Me,” “Crossroads” and “Tears In Heaven,” the film features candid interviews with the legendary axeman.
