Nicki Minaj’s April 2013 Elle cover was an incredible breath of fresh air. It was so refreshing to see her natural beauty as just that - without tons of makeup, costumes, wigs, and general outlandishness. Since then, the rap queen has started toning down her outfits and moving more towards the elegant side of things. With 2014 came classy black hair and a considerable step up in her fashion game.
